[Financial Aid | Scripps College Admission](http://admission.scrippscollege.edu/financial-aid)

It mentions that merit scholarships they do have range from 10K to 20K and that “approximately 34% of the students admitted to the Scripps Class of 2017 were awarded merit-based scholarships.”

The large scholarships at Scripps are called New Generation and Leonetti. Scripps seems to have redesigned their website and broken the links specifically describing these scholarships.

Merit Full Ride Scholarship at SUNY Alfred College, NY
This is more of an automatic full ride scholarship- especially for NY residents. Unfortunately the thread on automatic full ride scholarships is close. This scholarship is based only on GPA and SAT scores and the required scores are on the low end- easily achievable by many students.

New award criteria for the three scholarships which are part of the Distinguished Scholars Program have been approved for students entering Alfred State fall 2015. They are as follows:

Scholarship GPA SAT CR + Math ACT GPA to Maintain Scholarship Scholarship Value
Excellence in Education 94 1250 28 3.25 Free tuition (NYS rate), room (double occupancy), and board (14-meal plan)
Presidential 91 1200 26 3.0 Free room (double occupancy)
All-American 89 1150 24 3.0 Free board (14-meal plan)

*Note: students must meet the required high school average AND either the SAT combined score or ACT composite score; guaranteed to incoming freshmen who are accepted and provide official documentation of meeting criteria by March 1.

Note the top award only requires an ACT score of 28 or SAT of 1250 with a 94 HS GPA. This award includes tuition, dorm and even the meal plan.

===California===

President’s Scholars Program @ CSU Long Beach.

This list is NOT even close to accurate.

@ccco2018, would you care to elaborate?

@ccco2018, it would be useful if you would elaborate on what is inaccurate about it. That’s what we do in this thread.

This scholarship was initiated last year.

Ohio State also has the Morrill Scholarship, which can either be full-tuition in state, OOS, or completely full ride. It’s listed on the same link as the Eminence, so I’m not sure if its worth listing separately but I’m just throwing it out there.
