Are these scholarships available to international students?

^ I would look at the particular school’s website first for an answer, then contact the admissions office if you have any further questions.

Muskingum University in Ohio has a very easy to understand table that will give you estimates on how much scholarship money you get depending on family income, GPA, and test scores.

See here - http://muskingum.edu/financialaid/commitment/index.html

Tuition there is $24,000 a year. To get $24,000 or more from them, you could have (as an example):

3.4 GPA, 28 or higher on ACT, and family income of less than $100,000 annually

OR as another example:

2.8-3.19 GPA, 20-23 on the ACT, and under $70,000 family income

Finally, if you are a GREAT student with GPA above 3.8, family income of under $100,000 and ACT score (or SAT equivalent) of 28 or higher, you will get on average $26,500.

Make under $40,000 a year and the awards are even greater.

I wish all schools had a table like that.

Post #80 is not quite correct. Centre College offers ten full-rides-plus [the Brown Fellows program] each year. In addition, this year Centre has initiated the Grissom Scholars program: ten full-tuition-plus scholarships for first-generation college students. [If a Grissom Scholar needs aid beyond full-tuition, it will be made available.] I think that Centre is remarkably generous with both its need-based and merit aid. My two daughters are currently attending Centre–it’s been an exceptional experience for both so far!

Actually the Wells Scholarship can be from out of state. High schools in other states can become nominating schools and nominate qualified students. I know someone that was nominated by her high school and received the Wells Scholarship

As I have had my eye on the Jefferson Scholarship for quite awhile, I know that your chances of getting the scholarship are somewhat greater if your school is a nominating school. And with the only links on the page about registering your school being for guidance counselors, what do you guys think would be the best step in trying to get my school as a nominating school? And yes I am out of state, but they have nominating high schools all over the country.

Can somebody compile these all in one post?

There’s also a scholarship for engineering majors, but it seems to have a need-based component.

It looks like Miami University’s full ride scholarship has been discontinued. It’s just half to fill tuition now.

Miami U’s scholarship offerings are the same as listed in this thread - they have not changed.

U Miami (Florida) is cutting back on merit scholarships in favor of working towards being 100% need met school
