Dump all your complaints about your teacher here / i wanted to complain about relatively miniscule stuff

I've mentioned her on here before, but my Spanish teacher is stupid. Her class goes extremely slow and she exposes us to very, very little speaking, none of which is native, yet expects us to get a 100 percents on listening tests. She gives me dirty looks for asking questions about the subject that aren't directly related to the lesson. She's not actually -teaching- us Spanish, if you know what I mean. She's teaching it so we don't the fail the tests, not so we can actually learn the language and use it in the future. Oh, and she has "binder-checks" worth 50 points, which is graded by how she wants us to very specifically have our binders organized. I would much rather have a folder, because their lighter, easier to carry around, and you can get papers out a lot more easily, but I guess we're all retarded and need to be strictly regulated when it comes to how we organize our papers.

History teacher likes to think he's well-read and argues his views well. Some of which makes me wonder what the hell he teaches in his Econ class.

Engineering teacher is a cynical, hateful asshat who is a terrible teacher. He's admitted the last part himself and tells us with a straight face that we should march down to the office and demand he be fired.

Hm. Thought I'd have more than that.

…I honestly think we go to the same school! I seriously have the exact same complaints for my Spanish teacher. I love my engineering teacher but he has stated that we should go to the office and demand he be fired for his crappy teaching (albeit sarcastically).

My accounting teacher thinks his class is oh-so-important and freaks out if I dare work on assignments for other classes. Like seriously, I have an A in that class, always turn in assignments on time, and help others quite often. Don’t freak out because I prioritize physics or stats which I must do during school (because I often need help, which I obvs can’t do get at home) over doing accounting, which I am clearly capable of completing at home.

I also hate my seminar teacher. I have TA 4th block, and Seminar is right after that at the end of the day. Since I TA for my physics teacher and go to that class almost everydsy during seminar, I generally just stay with my physics teacher so I don’t have to waste 10 minutes walking to my seminar, waiting for the next bell, walking back, and getting refocused. I get a lot more done if I just stay where I’m at. So I’ve told my seminar teacher that exact same thing - but he still gives md unexcused absences!!! Like seriously out of all the students in my seminar I’m the only doing academic work, but I get punished. It’s so irritating to get in trouble for doing school work during school. Uggggh!

My AP Literature teacher is Stalin.

My french 4 teacher is horrendous, she has barely taught us anything new since French 3, and over the entire semester we’ve had one test - One. We’ll have a final, but in every other class I’ve had 3-5 tests… one in what is supposed to be a more challenging class is a bit ridiculous. Plus, we’ve had no speaking tests. I haven’t learned much at all, and probably the easiest A I’ve ever gotten, which bothers me since I should have to be struggling a bit to earn the A.

My chem teacher bothers me a bit, but she’s gotten better over the semester, maybe I juts got used to her. You can’t really ask her questions about general chemistry stuff, you have to have specific examples of specific things that you don’t understand until she helps you, and she seems to condescend (or as it appears to me) on kids that ask questions, returning with comments like “We did that in class” or “Read your notes on it”. She’s smart and if you can adapt to her teaching style you’re able to stay caught up… but it’s kind of hard to stay up to date especially if you miss a day or two, which I did unfortunately.

My English teacher is really bad though, but you wouldn’t notice at a first glance. She seems to know what she is talking about, but in essays she has comments like “It’s good, but here are a ton of reasons of why it’s bad”. Basically if you don’t get her the answer she’s looking for in these essays you can’t expect to get any good grades in it. Have not gotten an A on a single essay, and when I’ve had other English teachers review my essays they didn’t see near as many problems as she did. Maybe she just doesn’t like me. She made a girl cry once when she tried “helping” her with her thesis and essay and whatnot in class, and she made me feel bad about myself once… Ironically as I read “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest” I kept thinking she was very similar to Nurse Ratched…

Haha, that’s weird, but I don’t live in Kansas.

My Spanish 3 teacher is punishing me because I can get As in the class without doing work.

My math teacher marked off points for writing -1.7 instead of -1.66 and that is literally the difference between a B and an A in math…
