<p>I hear about all of these physics majors getting hired by top banks and firms because of their analytical skill. In this, what do you guys think about majoring in business admin, doing pre law with it and then minoring in physics as a college set? This is of course aiming to be a ibanker or something in the business field</p>
<p>Seems like a waste of time and IMO makes you look very uncertain which could scare some employers away.</p>
<p>Do it only if you like physics. Do NOT major in something just because you hear about its career possibilities. Too many people hear engineering to MBA is the best way, apply to engineering schools, and end up hating it and/or doing poorly in it. However, if you have interest in a given area and have enough reasons to actually major in it, then go for it.</p>

<p>I think you should only study physics if you are genuinely interested in it as a minor in it won't help you get a better job in anything.</p>
<p>double major in your interests. dont try to appease the 'job giving gods' by matching neuroscience and business if you just want to go watch the stock market all day. you are better off mastering something you will use later down the road.</p>
