Did everyone receive the email about the housing contracts being due by March 11? I am still waiting to hear back from another school, and I am waiting to hear about any financial aid for another school. I won't hear from either of them until late March, which makes me wonder why UF made the contracts due so early. Maybe I'm missing something, but am I still able to apply for housing after March 11, should I choose to attend UF? It doesn't seem logical to make the housing contracts due so early. Does anyone know something I don't?

That’s exactly what I’m thinking! I’m in the same situation! I wish it was May, 11 or in April. I still feel like there are a lot of admissions going around…

Same issue and I just emailed them and they basically replied “too bad. 3/11 is the deadline and if you don’t submit the contract you go on some waiting list”

You’d think that they would at least be considerate and wait until most schools release admissions decisions. It puts us in a really bad situation either way

They told me they usually wave the cancellation fee if you paid the $175 for the contract. They better because I have to pay $350 since I’m doing summer B and I’m still waiting on decisions from two other schools /:
