Housing Contract email?

I though we had until May 1 to officially enroll at UF but the housing contract is due on March 2. I'm not sure if I'm even going here. If I submit the housing contract, does that mean I am enrolling in to UF? Also, do you have to accept your admission before you can enroll? And how would I cancel the contract if I decide not to go her?

No; some people submitted the housing contract and were rejected. It’s non-binding.

The housing contract was emailed on Monday for accepted students only.
It has to be printed out, signed and mailed back to UF along with a $200 deposit by March 2.

(this is in addition to the housing application that was done after applying to the school which was the $25 charge)

There are some instances where the $200 deposit is waived and you will be told them as you work on the contract.

This is a housing contract, not your $200 deposit that is due by May 1st that says you are attending the school.

Here is the cancelation policy.
Cancellation Charges Summer B Fall/Spring
$50
On/before June 22 On/before May 3
$100 June 23 – July 2 May 4 – June 15
$200 N/A June 16 – August 27
Full rent On/after July 3 On/after August 28

“(this is in addition to the housing application that was done after applying to the school which was the $25 charge)”

Oh, I guess it is something different (but still non-binding) then. My apologies.
