Can you begin to fulfill the upper division requirements for a major while still completing the prereqs?

If not, it seems like it would be really difficult to even get to the upper division classes, particularly with the hard science majors...

um, most majors have premajor classes, which are prerequisites that must be fufilled before you can even take upper division classes

Oh, darn. Then when you have, like, 14 premajor classes, you're pretty much stuck taking just those classes freshman and sophomore years, then taking all of your upper division classes after?

When do you have time to take fun classes?

lol, youre saying premajor classes arent fun?

Yes. I'm taking 2 upper div classes this fall and one lower div major prereq. Obviously its allowed if the system didn't block me. The only case where you can't take any upper div classes is where all your upper div classes has all your lower div classes listed as enforced requisites.
