Computer Engineering Jobs

I was wondering what kind of different jobs are there available for Computer Engineers? The only ones I'm thinking are like office/programming jobs, fixing computers and AI/robotics. And the programming jobs seems a little dull. I like to work on hands on activities, research, designs, etc...

I mean if those are the only jobs, I might think about Electrical Engineering instead. I don't know...

Unless your CE program is not really a true CE program you should be taking a lot of EE classes along with a few CS classes and several embedded systems classes. A CE is basically an EE that specializes in computer hardware and embedded systems who can also program very well if needed.

Honestly a CE has the knowledge to do any job related to computers both software and hardware.

You're right. I will be taking a lot of EE classes and the program is accredited.

But forgot about majors right now. What kind of jobs are there for Computer Engineers? They can be totally diverse from each other.

What kind of jobs? Like I said a CE can do any job related to computers. A CE can do software jobs whether that be applications or systems, hardware design or testing, embedded systems programming, hell you could even get into networking.

Be an Electrical Engineer. With an EE degree you can get a job pretty much anywhere working on pretty much anything.

Plus, you get to be a wizard.
