Computer Major Question

I posted this in the other majors forum, but since I now know that CS is considered to be an enginering major, Here is my dilema:

I am currently working on transferring to UCI, but I am having trouble deciding which major to choose. I would like to be a software engineer in the future, but I don't know which major to choose. I have used the major advisor and I score the same in Informatics, Computer Science, and information and computer science; I have also done my research and heard that all of the before mentioned majors can help me become a software engineer. Informatics seems like it might be the easiest but I also enjoy math and science very much, and Informatics doesn't require much of either. I think that I will enjoy getting the computer science degree more, so should I get the CS, INF degree, or compromise with the ICS degree? I have another question about minors: what type of minor would be a good combo for a software engineer?

Thank you very much to those who reply

Alright, so I have decided to go with the informatics major since it focuses on human computer interaction and software creation. My question now is what minor would be better for me: a foreign language (I was thinking Spanish), or business (accounting or management)?

Business might be a more marketable bet, particularly if you decide later in your career to go down the dark road of management (MBA).
