Computer Science A: B-, Withdraw Passing, or omitted on transcripts

I have a situation. Due to certain school and sports situations my grades for the first two quarters of Computer Science A are extremely low: Q1 is a 65. Though calculations, I have determined that the highest final I could get is a B-. However, I am fairly certain that I can get a 5 on the exam. I have a few options: I can drop the class and get a WP(Withdraw while Passing), get it omitted from my transcript completely(not yet sure if possible), or keep the class on transcript. How would you guys rank these options? I would probably prefer keeping it on because of the exam, however I am probably going to have two other B+’s on this years transcript. I am really aiming for a top 20 school and I’m not sure how they will react.

I don’t think you’ll be able to have it omitted. A transcript is a record of the grades you received in high school for credit. It would be unethical to remove a grade from your transcript because of school and sports situations. I would discuss this with your counselor, because I know most schools don’t remove grades. If you go to a public school, I am almost sure that you won’t have it fully removed. She/he could probably discuss this in your letter of recommendation if you ask her/him.

So do you think a B- or a WP would look better?

Update: Talked to guidance counselor and she said that omission could only be if it was earlier in the year. So now the options are: B- or WP.
