Computer Science Admission Chances?

I’m a senior currently applying for colleges and I just wanted to get an idea if I should take a shot at applying for UC Santa Barbara for Computer Science. I know nothing is ever set in stone, but having a picture would really help me out.

My stats are: 4.6 Weighted Gpa, 3.914 UWeighted
Rank #16 in my school out of a senior class of 550 students
2210 SAT(730 Math, 740 CR, 750 Writing)
SAT II: 760-US History, 720-Math2 (i took U.S. history before i got into coding and discovered what I wanted to major in.
EC: Chief Editor(President) of my school journalism Club
Former Secretary and now Vice President of an SAS(School for Advanced Studies) Leadership Cabinet.
Letter of Commendation for PSAT

I know UC Santa Barbara is a competitive school, especially for computer science, so just having a picture of what I should do would be so helpful. It’s okay to be blunt, my future is more important than my feelings.

i think you have a great shot! i’m also applying to sb and other uc’s for computer science and i have a much lower gpa than you.

I believe that UCSB is a low match to a high safety. You have impressive stats, I and would be surprised if you didn’t get it. Good luck!
