What are the advantages of a computer science and economics double major? Possible job prospects?

All anyone will care about is CS. Unless you’re really interested in economics, I’d suggest focusing on CS.

I’ve asked this a while ago. After thinking about it myself for a while, it’s not worth the extra tuition and time out of the job market. That’s just my situation. Personally, I do many readings on the subject in my spare time and couldn’t be happier. It’s a great tool to have and use in life, to think like an economist and make rational decisions. There are probably very few jobs that require both degrees. If ever, each of those degrees are very much separate, except for the mathematics involved. Like simba9 said, it’s better to focus on CS. The job prospects are much higher.
