Hi, I'm currently a junior in high school and am wondering about majors in college. Specifically, a double major in economics and computer science. Does anyone out there have any info regarding how useful this choice of majors would be, job prospects, etc.?

It looks like you would be aiming for computer software jobs with applications to finance and economics.

It is likely more easily doable if the university has a worthwhile CS major within the same division (typically arts and science) as a worthwhile economics major, since a CS major within an engineering division may have too many other requirements that make it difficult to fit a second major in.

My D is also considering econ/CS double major, but more toward econ. Would like to hear other people opinion.
