Can you get a job with an undergrad computer science degree? Or is it like a biomedical engineering degree where you have to get a masters degree to get some kind of research job?

You can very much get a job with a BSCS. The majority of BSCS grads do as opposed to going on to grad school.

You can definitely get a job with a BS in CS.

Go to indeed.com, type in computer science for the job and your local location and see what it turns up. There are lots of CS jobs in my area right now. No guarantees about the market four years from now but it is a tough major that most students avoid.
