Hey all,
I am an aspiring Software Developer, and I was looking at my options for undergraduate programs. I haven’t heard too much about Brown’s computer science program. I’ve found a few mentions about half a decade ago, and I was wondering how the Computer Science Department is looking now, in 2017?
Thank you so much!
This should give you a pretty good idea:

The Brown CS department is extremely well-regarded, and every one of my friends who was a CS grad was able to get the job/grad school placement of their choice.
Brown is very good, I’ve been discussing CS on some other threads, the below link is a good ranking and I think pretty accurate, while I disagree with some of the placements, the top-10 and 25 seem reasonable.

Look up Andries van Dam.
Brown CS grads get jobs with all the top companies.
