Computer Science Graduate School Admissions

Hey all,

My major is Cognitive science with a specialization in Computation, minor in Computer Science. Most of my specialization is geared towards machine learning and artificial intelligence research, which is what I want to pursue for graduate studies.

I want to pursue a Masters degree/PHD in Computer science, probably in machine learning or data mining research. My question is whether or not I will be at a disadvantage due to my undergraduate degree not being in pure computer science? If so, will the fact that I have taken about the same amount of courses in Computer Science related subjects help or should I look to choose a lot of safety schools?

Thanks!
