I am considering last-minute applying to the ASCC program. I haven’t taken any computer science classes in high school, partially because they didn’t fit in my schedule, but have an extensive background in linguistics/languages and psychology + ECs for both. Is it still worth it to apply to this program? I’d always planned on taking computer science in college so I could have the option of going into Artificial Intelligence, and ASCC seemed like a good way to do it.

The ASCC major assumes starting in the beginner level course CIS 110 which has no prerequisites. Students who already have programming experience may start with CIS 120.
