Hi,
I am a high school senior and have been accepted into the following universities:

Gonzaga University
Seattle University
University of California - Davis
University of California - San Diego
University of Washington
Washington State University

Out of the schools listed, which one would you recommend for a computer science major, and why?

Things to consider:

Washington admits by major; if you are not admitted to the major directly as a freshman, getting into the major is extremely competitive.

Check UCSD and UCD about how difficult it may be to change into the major if you are not directly admitted to the major. This may apply to some or all of the others.

Consider which of the six residential colleges you are admitted to at UCSD, as they have different amounts of breadth requirements.

Check the course listings in CS for each school to see if they have the junior/senior level courses you want to take, and how frequently they are offered.

Consider net cost after non-loan financial aid.

Which publics are you OOS for? None of those state schools are worth paying high OOS costs.

What “free money” (grants) did you get from each school?

Have you visited these schools? What did you like/dislike?
