hey guys,
I visited both OSU and Purdue and I noticed Purdue has a lot of recruiters for the comp sci majors. Does OSU have a similar amount?

I am a CSE major at OSU and the recruiting has been pretty heavy. Every week we get an email notifying us of 3-4 on-campus jobs, like research or local companies, and recruiters from Microsoft and Amazon regularly hire about 15 grads each (out of about 100 CSE grads each year). Also, local companies hire OSU students rather frequently, most notably Chase Bank and Nationwide Insurance. I came to OSU as a Physics major and just recently changed my major to CSE. I am OOS and picking OSU was the best decision I ever made!

Any decent CS program will have lots of recruiters. There simply isn’t enough programmers in the market.

If one school is significantly cheaper than the other, then go to the cheaper school. I am sure that Purdue has a fantastic program. Also, try to visit OSU and the CS department before you decide.
