We’ve had the best encounters with professors, advisors and students from the Purdue CS department. Our experiences have been great at every school we’ve visited. Each school has been very enthusiastic about their academic offerings and employment opportunities. Our DD really does love Purdue though.

According to ARWU, Purdue and UMD are best for Computer Science. UMD also ranked very highly on the USNews undergraduate teaching (which ranks how good the teaching is at different universities at the undergraduate level), so I’m going to say that UMD would be a good choice.

Go to where you like it best, so VT. If you love your school you will most likely perform better. And also, 5 years down the road what you learn in school will become obsolete to your work experience you will obtain.
