Computer Science vs Interactive Digital Media with an Emphasis in Computer Science

Hi guys, I've been narrowing down my college choices and noticed that a lot of the colleges varied with the "core" classes for computer science. Basically, I would like a Computer Science degree with a business/media twist to it, except the only 2 colleges that I would be able to do that with is UMKC and Mizzou, (BA in CS.) Money wise, that wouldn't be the greatest, so I have those two colleges on the back burner and I'm currently looking at UCM & Northwest. UCM seems to have more programming classes, and emphasis on the hands on and less theoretical while NW is more theoretical and less hands on. Anyways cutting to the point. NW offers a degree in "Interactive Digital Media" with an emphasis in Computer Science. Basically this combines Advertisement, business, website design and the whole shabang into one major, and its basically what I want to do. My issue is, if I pursued it, and got my degree in IDM. Job wise would I be screwing myself over because I don't have the title of a CS major? Personally, I think as long as I get my foot in the door, and I have experience, internships and other things backing me up. It really wouldn't matter? I figured it would be best to get the opinion of others who have been through the decision making. I could do Computer Science, but I would have to supplement it more with business & media skills.
