Concern about transfer

I am some Asian kid applying there as a transfer. Although I submitted my application on time, they still have not processed my "college report" or my "faculty recommendations" yet. Could mean they are racist against Asians who are not as pretty as white people? Just wonder why else would they ever do something like that? I thought Harvard is very liberal and left way who support the minorties at all time? May I am wrong, but who cares to even read my thread.

wow... with that attitude and mentality, it's no surprise that no one has replied yet.

Why are you applying anyway?

I just said I have submitted the application on time but they just for some reason put me last in terms of processing my college report and recommendation letters, which makes me leery of the leftist, humanitarian aspect of the admission at Harvard.

dont worry -

They received my application on the 14th and they are still yet to process mine - I dont even have an access code yet -

maybe they just threw mine in the bin LOL

I called the admission people for like seven times over last week simply because they have not processed my recoms and college reports. Where you applying from?

Yeah...umm...repeated callings would annoy me too...

transferring from Columbia

alwayshere:
I am also applying to columbia as a transfer.

I don't see any correlation with your racial background, honestly. They got a gazillion of documents, letters of recs, well actually if it's approximately 900 people applying every year,so you can multiply 900 by 2 letters of recs+the official's report, and we get 2700 envelopes. You can do the same calculation to figure out how many other documents they're getting overall(id est college transcripts, high school transcripts, & etc.) in order to realize that there is no correlation between racism and the speed of processing a substantial amount of paperwork.

i don't even have my acess code yet, too and i've written to them about that without any reply but i never thought of anything like racism in this. I'm also applying from Ghana in Africa. Pls kill this mentality, creativemind, otherwise it might steal ur joy in college with anything someone says, most careless actions are not really acts of racism as u may think. I doubt somebody will like to sabotage you in the application process, cos of ur race.I know how it feels, buddy..

Furthermore, they're still making decisions on applicants for freshman year. They don't get around to transfer applicants until mid-April.

hahahaha you DO have a creative mind. Don't worry they have over 1000 transfer applications to process. They will get to yours soon. :)

Good luck.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about it. It's not racism.

Umm...yeah and I got in...
hey xjayz....how's your semester? I haven't talked to you in a long time..
