Concerned About Essays

So I submitted my essays to Stanford RD, but after reading over them again I feel as if one of them is quite generic. I was wondering if someone could take a look at my essays and tell me if I should be overly concerned about them. The specific prompt I am worried about is the prompt regarding something that is meaningful to me and why it is meaningful to me.

I was feeling somewhat sentimental when writing this essay and I said that the connections I have with the people around me (family, friends, and strangers) are very meaningful to me. I talked about how many of my family members are in Iran and because of that I have difficulty with seeing them often. I talked about how I take my grandparents to physical therapy when they do visit. Regarding my friends, I said that I am always willing to listen and that I enjoy a lot of pastimes with them. I concluded by stating that I volunteer at my local soup kitchen and act as a mathematics teaching assistant in my school as a means of connecting with strangers.

Is this response too generic and should I be seriously worried about it? I would be more than willing (actually hoping) to share the entire essay as well as my other essays with anyone who would care to read them.

Thank you!

The “why” part is the key. You can pick anything that is truly important to you. It’s done and over so don’t worry.

You’ve already hit submit.

What’s the point in worrying about them now? I say you move on and enjoy Senior year.
