Concerned about my essay topic.

For the Common App essay, I wrote about how I've always been very passionate, creative, and motivated. I used examples from my childhood - reading voraciously at an early age, writing wild stories, playing dress-up all the time - and showed how these activities helped me develop into the person I am today. I also connected those personality traits to the type of school that I would thrive at.

Basically, the bottom line is that I've been who I am since I was a little girl and I want to keep growing in that direction. Is that an okay topic, or will adcoms view me as someone who is stagnant and not progressing?

All feedback/critique is welcome! I would be happy to read/edit/critique your essay if you read mine, too.

I’d love to read yours if you’ll give me feedback and advice on mine! Your topic sounds a little bit trite, but it makes me want to read it to see what kind of person you are.

Awesome, thank you! I just PMed you.

Stagnant? No. Self-aware? Yes. And, confident and well-adjusted. As long as it doesn’t wander into excessive self-praise.

Hi, PM me I would love to raed it.
