Concerned about withdrawing same class twice

Hello College Confidential Forums, I am stuck in a pretty bad situation right now. I took Biology II in community college and nearly failed it because it felt very overwhelming, so I withdrew and decided to take it online during the summer. The biology class I enrolled online was a mess and I could not really see what assignments were due or not; even the semester calendar was a mess. I absolutely hated it. I did the work that was apparently due at first, but after several weeks of class, I barely noticed that a very important class discussion and project assignment was overdue. Those grades were very important, and at this rate, I have a feeling that I will fail this class again.

If I withdraw the class I will have two withdraws on my transcript, and I am worried that this will reduce my chances of transferring into a good college like UT. I am a computer science major and I am somewhat well in my other college classes (two Bs, one C in previous biology, the rest A's). All of the classes that are related to my major are As. How much will this effect me? I'm panicking right now I don't know what to do.

A grade of W is much better than an F.

Withdrawals are very important to limit if you are applying for graduate school, but not quite as important if you are entering the job market after undergrad. In fact, most employers will hardly pay attention to them as long as you don’t have 20 of them on your transcript. GPA, however, is much more important and nearly all employers will filter candidates by it. In my opinion the value of an A makes up for the negative value of the W. Just make sure that you do not repeat this a third time.
