Concerning the FRENCH SAT II (no listening)

I'm in trouble. I'm taking it (as well as Lit.) on October 6th and... well, I'm scoring like 600 on these stupid practice tests, even before doing the passage part. I'm in French 5AP, so I thought I could do it. My mom says if I don't feel confident, i should drop and sign up for another thing. But I'm feeling a strong urge to do it and score above 700- I mean, languages have always been my strong point! And I'm trying for upper tier UCs/good scholarship at USC, so this is really important to me. I've been studying for the last three weeks but I feel like it's slipping through my fingers

Any advice from those who have survived it? I know most people who take a language SAT are native speakers. Stupid move on my part.

First of all good job for your determination to do a language test that is not your native language; colleges will really appreciate you dedication. Secondly, because this is your second language I believe anything over 600 will be seen positively. What book are you working with? I also took the French test (it is not my native language) and I found the SAT to be very simillar to the format of the test in Princeton Review.

Thank you. I'm using REA. I might check the PR out. I'm kinda scared
