I am transferring out to UMN and I'm interested in taking non-academic classes (like Spanish, etc) from the community college during the semester while being enrolled full time at UMN. I tried searching their website but couldn't find anything about how to concurrently take classes from the community college and UMN. So if you guys have any info regarding this please share.

Thanks.

Are you also taking summer classes at the UofM?

Talk to your college advisor to make sure your credits will transfer.

I’m not taking summer classes at UMN.
I basically wanted to know if I can take classes from the community college during the fall semester.

I think you can do that. Talk to your advisor / OneStop to make sure, especially if you are receiving any kind of financial aid.

Any reason you don’t want to just take it at the UofM? If you are degree-seeking your rate is flat.
