"Conditional" financial aid...still.

So I just checked my financial aid for 2010-2011, and it's still "conditional" for everything (including work study, which I need for my job this summer).

I am not doing any income verification so I just wanted to know if I'm the only one or if it's just how it is during the summer.

should be verified by now. i got an email from my supervisor today…did u have a fafsa correction you sumbitted recently maybe that they are factoring in (hence the delay) perhaps?

I got an email too, from the hiring people, but I don’t think they know about the status of my fin aid…

UGH this sucksss.

And no, no corrections on FAFSA.

Man, I don’t know if I hate anyone more than the bureaucrats at Cal.

They work like 2 hours a day and **** up something 1.5 of those hours.

Oh it turns out my parents never updated the FAFSA when they filed taxes -__-
My bad!

Hey I know it’s past the deadline to submit FAFSA but do you think we can still get a bid of aid if we submit now? On the website it says that Cal will still accept FAFSAs late but school funding will be lowered. But it would still be possible to get work study, right? Since that is from government loans?
Just found out I really need work study next semester…
(Didn’t fill out FAFSA because last year we didn’t get much aid and my parents didn’t want to take out loans but now this semester I really need workstudy)

It’s definitely worth a try. But if you only got offered loans last time, you might not get offer of work study.
