Confirmation Emails?

<p>Hey, I'm really confused.</p>

<p>I recently sent in my common app + supplement to Yale, Stanford, and Princeton. I mailed in all my recommendation letters, secondary school reports, official transcripts, etc. </p>

<p>And all this went in by Nov 1. </p>

<p>And I only got a confirmation email from Princeton saying they've received EVERYTHING in my application. </p>

<p>Does anyone know if you're supposed to get confirmations like this from Yale and Stanford too??</p>

<p>This is kind of worrying me...</p>

<p>Some schools send confirmations by snail mail. D got a letter from one of her EA schools today (mailed on Nov 2nd). Some are so overwhelmed with applications, it takes them a while to sort through the piles.</p>
