Confirmation of receiving acceptance letter?

Hello--

Daughter did not send her acceptance letter until last weekend. We do know the letter got there by May 1, but she is a little nervous.

Those of you who chose UR earlier than she did, did you receive anything in the mail to acknowledge that you will be enrolled for the fall semester?

She thought of emailing admissions, but thought they would be mobbed with work this time of year.

I guess she is just looking for peace of mind, that her acceptance actually reached the right hands in admissions.

I think as long as its postmarked by the 1st.
Just call admissions; I am sure they will be happy to answer your questions

D called admissions the Friday before May 1 to make sure they had gotten her check. They had. (And despite all the mail coming in & work they had to do, they were very gracious in checking for her.) However, they didn't acknowledge anything formally until late Friday/early Saturday, when she got an e-mail congratulating her on choosing Rochester. The e-mail said she should get a packet in the mail by May 15.

Thanks to all

Didn't even think of email. Suggested to daughter that she check her email (she doesn't check it often), and there was the 'welcome to UR" email!
