Hi everyone, this is my first post on CC. I will be a junior(upper classman ayee) need a bit of advice on what I should take next year, and the year after that. I go to a school where Engineering is highlighted, but also offers a fantastic medical program. I've been trying to take classes that broaden my horizons because I've heard that many who aspire to get into the medical field are unsuccessful.

For my freshman year my schedule looked like this
H Bioscience(part of Project Lead the Way)
H Biology
H Geometry
H US World History(Can't take any AP as a freshman or sophomore)
Spanish 3-4
H English
Physical Education
H Intro to Programming
In order to move onto pre-calc, I also took honors algebra over the summer at a community college

My sophomore year looked like this
H Java
H Spanish 5-6
H Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry
H Physical Science(was made a graduation requirement for my class, so my high school has been messed up a bit)
H Human Geography/H Economics(1 semester each)
H Human Body Systems (part II of Project Lead the Way)
H English 10
Weight Training(Done with PE credits!)

Junior Year Plan
AP Lang and comp
AP World
H Chemistry
H physics
H Medical Interventions(Part II of PLTW)
AP Calc BC
H Biotech Engineering
H Spanish 7-8

Senior Year Plan
AP Literature
Ap Government
AP Chemistry
AP Chemistry Lab
AP Biology
AP Biology Lab
H Anatomy and Physiology
AP Calc 3

My conflict:
I am conflicted between taking Biotech Engineering at all. I've been told that I would make a good engineer, but I have yet to take an actual engineering course, so I figured that Biotech would give me the best of Biology and Engineering based concepts . If I remove Biotech Engineering and another class(maybe Spanish now that I've finished the required years for most colleges), I will be able to take AP Biology as a Junior and AP physics as a Senior. On the other hand, if I remove Spanish, I'll have a gap between high school and college. On a third slightly weaker hand, do I really need physics in high school anyway?

If it helps anyone, I have the option to take some classes at the community college also.
