Confused about applying, i want to do undergraduate business management at ross

Hi,

I've been starting my application at UMich, and i'm a little confused about applying. I am going to apply as early as possible, and i know i want to do undergraduate business at the ross school of business. how does this work application wise (and essay wise)? i see preferred admission to ross-do i want that? (if so, then what essays do I do? the LSA one along with the supplement?)

Again...what do I do, and how do I work it out application and essay-wise if i want to do u-grad business at ross and am willing to apply as early as possible? i'm out of state.

thanks!

You’re going to apply to LSA, but you can indicate that you want to be considered for Preferred Admission to Ross. If you do that, you will have to write an additional essay for Ross that will show up with the other essays. Preferred admission is very competitive and you can wait until freshman year when your chances will be a bit better. If you get preferred admission you will have the peace of mind of knowing you got in, but you still won’t start taking classes at Ross until sophomore year.
