confused about gpa

im confused cause ive seen so many variations like 3.97 umich gpa and i dont really see how thats possible

this is how i did it

it says they use 10th and 11th right and only core classes including language, thats 5 and 5 =10...so i have

2 a's math
2 a's science
2 a's foreign language
1 a history
1 a english
1 b history
1 b english
so thats
8 a's
2 b's

8x4=32
2x3=6

32+6=38
38/10=3.8? right???!

anyway chances 3.8? umich gpa, 32 act, oos

Relax you calculated it right. And you should prolly provide more information, like ECs, to get a more realistic chance. If you applied early, those stats you provided are good enough. If not, i would say its a toss-up. I cite 2 good friend last year who had 33+ ACTs and 3.9s who applied in december and january and got waitlisted.

So if you want some decent chance replies, add more. Good luck

anyone else?
