Confused about Marquette

<p>I got a letter from Marquette that said..</p>

<p>"Thank you for your interest in Marquette, and welcome to CheckMarq, Marquette's portal Web site! ................"</p>

<p>And yadiyadiyah. I get these letters from temple and upitt and penn state...but for Marquette, they gave me my own college email add.
like..</p>

<p>my <a href="mailto:name.lastname@marquette.edu">name.lastname@marquette.edu</a></p>

<p>And I can actually use it.</p>

<p>But I didn't get accepted yet. I don't know till late December or January.</p>

<p>I'm confused...why would they do that? Is that a hint of an early acceptance?</p>
