Confused about SAT practice tests scores...

I have the blue book by Collegeboard, first edition, and I just did a practice test.

My score ranges:

Writing 660 - 800

Critical Reading 670 - 770

Math 640 - 700

If I add all of the lowest possible scores and the highest possible scores, my total score range is 1970-2270. But is that even an appropriate way to calculate the score? That's such a big range! Should I assume that I'm in the 1900s, 2200s, or somewhere in between like 2000-2100? I'm so confused :( Maybe I should get a different book that gives definite scores?

Take the average, if you are uncertain.

I just take the middle score :] thats usually what it is i heard.
