My daughter took the ssat.

How do I determine what percent she scored at?
Her isse scores
V 6
R 7
Q 7
M 7
Which test results would be better to submit?
Her first choice is Middlesex. What do you think her chances are by looking at her scores?
@soulsurvivor – login into SSAT and look up the scores – your percentages will all be right there.
also true for the ISEE – you can get the percentages (not just the stanines) by looking at the score report online in your account.
As to which score to send, I’d compare the percentages and send the higher one. If they are close, I would send the SSAT, since that does seem to be the test requested by BS.
Caveat: We are in application process now ourselves so perhaps others with more experience have a more informed opinion.
Update on DD scores. She took her ssat again and she improved her Q score to 87 %. If I take her highest grades from the two test are below
R 91 722
V 81 722
Q 87 746
What would her percent be assuming they supper score her highest grades?
Can you post the percentiles from each segment for SSAT and ISEE? It would make the comparison apples to apples, as much as it can be anyway.
My best guess using stanine and making some assumptions about SSAT subscore percentiles would be the super scores SSAT might be better. But again having the actual subscore percentiles for both tests would be much easier to compare.
Thank you for the responses. I think I am just going to try and put it in the back burner. I submitted all of her scores. It is what it is. Hopefully it will be enough to meet the 85% requested minimum. Thank you for your input.
@soulsurvivor Great! Just to remove some stress, Mx average (and actually I believe it’s the median, not the mean) is 85%, which is a far cry from being a requested minimum. So I hope that encourages you! GL to your DC!
Thank you very much for your words of encouragement.
