I'm planning to send in my ACT scores when applying to various colleges (that I'm not even sure of yet). I want to take SAT Subject Tests-- Just in case I end up needing them. For some colleges that I'm looking at (USC), they are highly recommended.

If I want to submit SAT II scores, do I have to submit those along with SAT I scores, or can I send them in with my ACT score?

This has been confusing me for some time. It seems to make sense that SAT II can only be sent in with SAT I.

You can use score choice unless the school does not accept it. You couldn’t have taken subject tests and the SAT on the same date, so yes, you can send the subject tests without the SAT, unless the above proviso exists.

If you are asking if the school will accept ACT scores and SAT II scores without you having taken the regular SAT, then the answer is yes. You probably know that the ACT is not administered by the College Board, so you have to go to two different testing organizations to take the tests and submit your scores.
