Would anyone be so lovely as to help me review my common app essay. I’m a British student and haven’t quite grasped the concept of American college app essays. I choose the failure prompt and I just want to know if I’m going in the right direction or if I should just scrap it and start again.
Sure! I actually wrote about the failure prompt as well. My own essay has been through quite a few edits, so I think I have some experience with what they want from you.

Oh, how come? I was going to have this person read my essay for me on college confidential but they’re a new member and doesn’t have any posts either.
