<p>Hmmm, maybe he means the general course requirements at UCLA? I don't know what UCLA's requirements are but you will need to meet all of them in order to graduate. You can not just take the premed requirements and be done with it.</p>
<p>im going to guess that by "GED" you mean General ed courses at UCLA. Yes you have to take them if you want to graduate from UCLA. For a list of easy GE's refer to the UCLA subforum.</p>
<p>While occasional schools technically do not require that you graduate from college, it's a pretty big deal and would take significant excellence in all other areas to compensate.</p>
<p>sfoksn: I'm also a senior in high school, but I've read a bit about ROTC programs, and from what I've gathered if you want to go to medical school, it might be best not to do ROTC in college, but instead do the equivalent of ROTC--the army calls it the Health Professions Scholarship Program--when you go to med school (if you're intent on going to med school). ROTC (and, again, this is from what I've heard and read) will want your commitment right away after you graduate, and won't want to let you go to med school...</p>
