Confused: UCLA/UCB Pre-Reqs

I've been trying to figure out exactly what classes to sign up for, and I'm confused as to what prequisites I need to be considered for transfer to UCLA or UCB. It seems like they just want 60 units by the time you apply, but on the UCLA TAG it says random stuff, such as "take calculus," etc. Is there any site or anyone that knows exactly which classes you need to take, or which are transferrable, etc.?

Are most UC->UC classes transferable between eachother?

(If it matters, my major is Comp. Sci.)

Any input is appreciated, thank you!

assist.org is your best friend.

oh and ucla doesn't have TAG, it has TAP. there is no such thing as guaranteed admission to ucla.

Thanks for the reply.

I meant TAG as in Transfer Admission Guide, not the program. (I'm at a UC as stated in post)

<a href="http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/ADM_TR/UCLA_TAG.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/ADM_TR/UCLA_TAG.pdf</a></p>

Assist.org also doesn't have other UC classes.

ALL COURSES BETWEEN UC are transferable and you keep your GPA too.

UC to UC go to your councelor. Most people here know about CC to UC

There is not as much information out there in terms of something similar to assist.org for UC to UC

Also, if you just got into a UC- i really suggest you do not go there with the intention of transferring. You will not enjoy your time there. Any UC is a good college choice, do not attend one just with the intent to transfer.

This took me less than a minute to look up.

Prospective Undergraduate Information | EECS at UC Berkeley

Hey find your major on this page and click on it. That should bring up the prerequisites
UCLA Undergrad Admissions: Profile of Admitted Transfer Students by Major, Fall 2007

Thanks for the replies.

So it seems like for UCB, I need 4/6:
* Math 1A (calculus)
* Math 1B (calculus)
* Math 54 (linear algebra and differential equations)
* CS 70 (discrete mathematics and probability theory)
* CS 61B (data structures)
* EECS 42, 43 (introduction to electrical circuits)

However, I'm confused on that UCLA page.

Do I just need these:
Computer Programming

* Either FORTRAN, Java, C Programming or C++
* Applicants to Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Science and Engineering should take C++

Or do I need all of them?

For example, in Chem, it says: Chemistry

* 2 terms of General Chemistry
* Exception: Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Science majors require only one term of Chemistry.

So I need the Eng. and Physics and stuff too?

Do I also take the Recommended Additional Engineering and Computer Science Courses?

it only says UCLA: Course, so how do I find the same ones for that?
