People keep saying "My D got in."
Or "My D was accepted last fall."
Does "D" refer to his or her....ermm...reproductive organ?
I'm just so confused. I thought this was a college blog.

It means Daughter

Oh my! Silly me. What a terrible misunderstanding all this time.

Lolololololololololololol

Made my day. Ty.

DD=Dear Daughter
DS=Dear Son
D=Daughter
S=Son
DH=Dear Husband
DW=Dear Wife
H=Husband

And so on and so forth. Some people day “DD” some just say “D”. Some will say S1 and S2. Some say S14 (like son, 14 years old). There’s even MIL (Mother in Law).

What confused me initially was d’14. Apparently it means daughter, class of 14. On everyInternet forums I’ve been on, its dd, ds, and the number following is age, not graduating year.

It’s on a lot of forums. It’s kind of stupid…I mean, they write out every other word, why not just say “son” and “daughter”?

DC also means Dear Child

TCC means take cover chiiiild!

TLC means toddlers lunatics cake =P
