<p>Check the web site, like many large schools there are smaller colleges within the University. Most kids apply to CAS which is a general program with tons of varied majors. There are then several other schools like Communications, Management, Education, Health, Engineering, Fine Arts--- among many, many others not to mention unique programs like University Professoirs Program. Serach around the Bu site for detaiils and good luck.</p>

<p>Yeah the engineering here is supposedly really good. The BME is really high up in the rankings.... not to sure about computer science but I think its called computer engineering here.</p>
<p>The way I see it is that basically all of the majors here are great because they are so specialized. I think it comes with having such a big school. It attracts a lot of great professors that make great programs. But some are better than others.</p>

<p>Computer science is different, and it IS offered here. BU is not known for its CS program, but the campus is large and diverse, so interdisciplinary opportunities are available to spice up your resume.</p>
<p>BU offers PhD's in CS, so there is actual research there. I don't know how it is ranked, but I'd imagine it is not looked down on.</p>
