Right now I'm torn between UT-Austin Engineering and Wellesley. These are both entirely different I know, but I really have no clue what I want to do.
I know that most Wellesley students continue on to graduate school afterwards, but I'm not sure if I definitely will do that. What if some other factor (helping out parents financially) pushes me to get out of school as soon as possible and get a job? Would UT-Austin be a better choice?
Is it better for me to choose to grow and figure out what I'm truly passionate about at Wellesley or go into the practical biomedical engineering major I sort of haphazardly applied to (top ten percent rule in texas)?
I would love ANY advice. I'm in love with how much I'd experience at Wellesley, but finances are important and in some ways urgent.

Take risks! Finances are scary (I know this better than most, believe me), but you should always try to find what you love. Don't you want to spend the rest of your life doing something that you're passionate about? Plus, you could get a job right out of Wellesley. No, you don't have the same career education you'd get at UT-Austin, but you'd have a Wellesley degree--something that will not be looked down upon when you get out of school.

i think you should discuss the matter with your parents, especially if finances play such a huge role in this decision.
honestly, if you take the money factor out of it, i believe you've answered your own question. you said, "i really have no clue what i want to do." that sounds like you'd be better off at a liberal arts college (wellesley) than at a school with one focus (ut - engineering).
