Hi everyone! My name is Joseph and I am a current freshman at WashU. I started a student-run group (no ties whatsoever with the Office of Admissions or Office of Orientation), this December for accepted students (or interested waitlisted students) called bear buddies. This group is on facebook (you can find us in the topics section of the "Washington University in St. Louis Class of 2013" group), and is there to get accepted students integrated into the WashU culture before they arrive on campus. By signing up for this group (on facebook), you will be giving yourself access to:
1) a current student who will be there to answer any questions that you may have about WashU and can also tell you about his/her experience at this University. Students are free to say anything positive or negative about the school, so this is a great resource for those who are making a decision about WashU
2) access to the expert lists. These lists are composed of students willing to be contacted about certain topics. So if your bear buddy does not know about Greek Life, athletics, Controversy n' Coffee, Student Union, the Screw Your Roommate Semiformal, etc. You can consult the expert lists
3) Pictures of Modern and Traditional Dorms.
4) and more!

If you are interested please go to the facebook group and sign up. If you can not find it I can message you a link. We currently have 80ish current students and 80ish incoming students who are getting their questions answered.

Thanks for reading!
