My D just received an LOA. Does this mean she doesn’t need to go through with interviews she has set up so far - or does she go through them anyway? Is there anything she should do between now and June when she shows up that will help her out?

LOA means you pretty much have an appointment AS LONG as you get a nomination. Hope that answers your question.

Yes, she can workout before June hehe. The most important thing is run. Build up that endurance and Basic should be a little easier that way. Continue doing pushups, situps, pullups etc... and jus maintain a steady routine workout. That will bring about great results during Basic and throughout the year.

P.S. 2012 is anxiously awaiting 2013's arrival ;)

well...she has a Presidential nomination as my husband is retired Navy so she must be good to go. She is soooo.... excited!

Cool, then she is all set!

Congratulations!

I should clarify my D has a Letter of Acceptance, not Assurance does that make a difference?

Oh, yes it does. Letter of assurance means they don't know that she has a nomination yet. Acceptance means she has been accepted to the class of 2013 haha.

In any case, fairly sure she is all set and ready to go.

thank you for the help!!
