I got my Emory acceptance information in the mail today. This package included some information on a system they use called Learnlink. At the bottom of the paper that contains the learnlink information there is something about a conference called "Connect2011" using this we can supposedly find out alot information about the school such as what type of computer to bring, housing, financial aid.. etc. I logged on to Learnlink and the "Connect2011" conference isnt there. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I am thinking that maybe the conference has not been made available because the rest of the college admissions decisions come out later.

NotTheSterotype,
Any idea why your acceptance letter came early. Son is eagerly awaiting his.
Thanks for any info you may have. Good luck to you.

Yea, I'm actually on the current students section of the conference, and all the ED people have been posting on there. You should call 404 727 7777 to ask for help. It's the Emory IT helpline.

I actually had this same problem last year, so they probably just need to add you to the conference.

Just go to the IT website ( http://it.emory.edu/helpdesk.cfm ) and skip to step 2. Click on the button that says "Begin Support Request" log in (username/password used to log on to OPUS), and follow the steps to fill in a request. They usually get back to you fairly quickly, so you should get it settled soon. If you really cannot wait to get on there, then the other option is to call the number in dgeball's post above. Either way, congrats on your acceptance!

I just got home and its working all of a sudden so Thanks.

i'm glad things work out and hopefully i'll see you in the ATL next year.

ok so i'm not even able to log in onto that learnlink thing from the disk in the mail. it says my username/password isn't correct but its the same thing i enter into opus and it works fine there.

ohh darn...there's a thread about this, it's a setup problem. go to the facebook emory 11 group and dig it up. I can't remember, but i know what you're talking about.

got it to work. i think they just didnt have my account activated yet or something, cuz the server thing wasn't the problem.
