So I just got my admission letter from Humboldt. From what I've read about it, it seems like I'd like it. It's situated in a beautiful area, it seems good for my intended major (wildlife bio), the school is nice and small. It's also apparently very liberal, which appeals to me.

However, it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. It's not close to any major city, so transportation costs scare me. I really don't have money to be spending on that. I currently live in the L.A. area. I'm afraid to forsake the convenience of living close to a major city. Moving away is a very big step, and I'm just not sure this school is worth it. Any advice?

Also, is it difficult to get classes there like it is with most of the schools down here?
