Considering internal transfer from A&S to DEA or FSAD (Management prong). Ideas?

Hi all~

I'm currently a sophomore in Cornell's College of Arts and Sciences. I have chosen to take this semester off (SP12) due to not understanding why I am doing liberal arts and wondering if another program or college would have a better fit for me.

I have always been interested in design and, to a smaller extent, business. I am also very interested in psychology, as I did consider doing a psych major. However, as I do not wish to pursue psychology beyond undergrad, I thought it might not be the best major for me considering that I would like a management or business-related job in the future.

I have toyed with the idea of transferring to the FSAD management program, but I do not know if it is the right fit for me and I do not know much about it other than looking through its course requirements.

Any information on the FSAD or DEA programs would be greatly appreciated. I understand that it is kind of late for me to consider this, especially since I have already completed 3 semesters of A&S, but if I really feel that the programs are a better fit for me I am willing to transfer however late I am.

thanks all~

By what your stated interests are, I’d recommend the Management path of FSAD.
