considering which scores to send

Some schools i am interested include Duke, Cornell, USC, Rice, NYU

I've looked through common data sets, and some schools require either SAT and SAT II, or just ACT.

My SAT is decent (2140), but my SAT II tests are bad (all in 600s).

My ACT right now is a 30, but I was sick on test day, and I have done a lot better on practice tests.

Should I focus on improving my ACT and just send that rather than the SAT and SAT II?

I would work on the ACT (make sure it includes the Writing test).

Your SAT1 score is not bad. You don’t need to hide even if you get a better ACT score. However, there is no need to submit it either unless the school ask for it. Your SAT2 scores would be around national average and may not help your application. So don’t send them if they are not required.
