[]Teacher Recs: Bio AP: I got the highest grade (about 100%) both semesters (next highest grade was 97%) and I showed a lot of enthusiasm and interest in the class. So I expected a great rec.
AP Lang. and Comp teacher knew me okay, so I think that rec was okay too.
[]Counselor Rec: Large Public High School, so didn’t know me too well. Basically, I got interviewed by my Assistant Principle and she said that she would write a really good rec.

[]Advice? Commiserations? Feel like bragging?: Show ur interest in science or engineering in the supplement main essay. That is the most important thing, so make sure you portray that you enjoy doing “hands-on” science/engineering. Also, make sure you mention your leadership in science/engineering. Good luck RD’s and 2015’s! [/ul]

And for future applicants like me who searched these forums relentlessly for hope, my scores are not the best, my essays were OK, and I did not waste my time fighting to be valedictorian. I collected plants, painted, and made a few electronic gadgets. I programed, chatted online, and had lots of fun. I am a person with a passion for science, not a list of good looking numbers. I retook those stupid standardized tests sooo many times(5) the SATs and me don’t mix… I hope those reading this will stop worrying about SATs and ACTs and APs and IBs and GPAs and yatta yatta yatta, go out and have some ice cream, I know I will soon.
